Rick Handyside started Best Wash in 2007. Before that, he managed a warehouse full-time and washed fleet vehicles on evenings and weekends. He’d also spend time working in heating and plumbing while running that side work at the same time, until his brother told him he couldn’t keep doing both. Rick chose the side work. It was the job he liked more.
Two decades later, that same crew, 18 to 20 people today with Mary Beth Handyside running billing and contracts, covers:
Our crews are trained to NFPA 96 standards for commercial kitchen exhaust cleaning. Technicians hold OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 certifications, along with Air Lift certification and ABAA certification.
We carry a Pennsylvania business license and liability insurance, including an additional umbrella policy. Our coverage fits the general contractor work we do across the region. Whether your job is residential or commercial, you’re covered by the same standard.
Few things have changed about how Best Wash operates over the last two decades. We’d rather build a relationship than close a one-off job. Your job gets priced for what’s involved, not for what wins the bid. If something changes on the job, calling you before you have to call us, is standard practice here, not the exception.
We’ve been doing this work in Central Pennsylvania since 2007. Your job gets scheduled around your hours, not ours.
